Delete your BabuTaxi account

For the BabuTaxi app (customers) and the BabuTaxi Driver app, both by BabuTaxi. Use this page to ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it. You don't need the app.

Which account?

App

What we delete

  • Your name, email, phone number and password
  • Your Google sign-in link, app sessions and notification tokens
  • Pickup and drop addresses and notes on your bookings
  • Drivers: document photos (RC, licence, insurance, permit, fitness, PUC, vehicle), licence number, home areas and days off

What we keep, and for how long

  • Booking and payment records (route, date, fare, payment reference) — kept up to 8 years because Indian tax law requires it, with no name or contact details, then deleted
  • Drivers: the vehicle's registration and model, which those past trips refer to
  • A note that you asked for deletion and when, with your email masked
